Over the last 10 years or so we’ve seen a lot of changes in the area of male sexual pleasure and penis size. New discoveries are constantly being made, new products are being developed, and cultural attitudes about the male sex organ are changing. Yet at the same time there are still some myths that pervade – especially when it comes to a man’s desire to enlarge his penis.
We’ve listed below seven of the most pervasive myths still around. We hope that by presenting them here, men who are struggling with whether or not to begin a penis enlargement program will be able to make a clear decision one way or the other.
Myth #1 – Women Don’t Care
It is true that studies have shown women involved in committed relationships are generally satisfied with the length of their man’s penis. Yet that doesn’t mean women don’t care one way or the other about whether or not their partners want bigger packages. Women do certainly care.
Women want their men to be happy in every area of life. In the bedroom they know that a happy man is one who is more likely to put forth his best effort. If a bigger penis will make him happy most women are going to be in favor of it. But even when a woman is not, she still has an opinion. To say that women don’t care about penis size is to ignore the realities of the human psyche.
Myth #2 – Penis Size Has No Affect on Performance
It may be true that penis size does not affect performance from a mechanical standpoint, but it’s certainly not true in terms of psychology or emotion. Right or wrong, men often assess their sexual prowess according to the size of their members. If a man believes he is too small he is likely to suffer performance anxiety and/or believe he’s always on the verge of losing his partner to someone better endowed. These types of thoughts and emotions are a quick road to putting a damper on sexual performance.
Myth #3 – Penis Size Has No Effect on Female Pleasure
Simple common sense would dictate the idiocy of this myth. Just like men come in different sizes, so do women. The relationship between both their sizes and how they “fit together” certainly does have an effect on female pleasure.
It is entirely possible that a woman will experience more pleasure with a larger penis just as it’s possible for her to experience pain or other discomfort with one that is too large. That’s why it’s important for couples to agree on a course of action if a man believes penis enlargement is necessary.
Myth #4 – It’s Impossible to Permanently Enlarge the Penis
This is a myth that is so easily disproved it surprising so many people still believe it. Human science has known for centuries that it’s possible to influence tissue growth by introducing various types of stresses. For example, when surgeons plan to do a procedure that will require skin grafts, where do you think they get the skin from? In most cases they install temporary instruments that stretch the patient’s with the intention of using that skin for later grafting.
This process is known as “traction” and it’s been around for thousands of years. If you’ve ever seen pictures of indigenous peoples in South America with elongated necks, stretched ear lobes, and super sized lips, you’ve seen evidence that traction works. If it works on other parts of the body, there’s no reason to believe it doesn’t work for enlarging the penis.
Myth #5 – Penis Enlargement Is Dangerous
Permanent penis enlargement is completely safe as long as it’s done according to certain parameters. For example, a device like the Quick Extender Pro employs traction in a way that is very gentle. When used according to instructions the Quick Extender Pro doesn’t pose any danger of injury or infection. Likewise, penis pumps and daily supplements designed for temporary penis enlargement have been proven safe when used appropriately.
Myth #6 – Increasing Penis Size Is Painful
Along the same lines as our previous myth, penis enlargement is not painful if proper procedures are followed. Using the Quick Extender Pro example again, it could cause pain if a user intentionally wore it too tightly and adjusted it to apply too much pull. Likewise, if someone is practicing jelqing exercises and does them too harshly, pain could result. But as long as men are following the guidelines there should be no pain involved.
Myth #7 – Priapism Is Connected with Penis Enlargement
Priapism is a condition in which the penis or clitoris does not return to flaccid state after sexual arousal subsides. It is almost always caused by cardiovascular issues. It can be a case of blood not flowing out of the organ fast enough (low flow) or blood flowing into the organ too quickly (high flow). In either case enlarging one’s penis usually has nothing to do with priapism.
I am not sure if the size of my penis is is large or are the women just simply saying my god! thats what I call a very long specimen
